Lawn Restoration

  • We offer lawn restoration services in both spring and fall, designed to improve soil health and encourage strong, healthy turf growth. This process includes topdressing, fertilization, and overseeding. A blend of all-purpose and organic soils is evenly spread across the lawn, followed by soil amendments including a pH adjuster, seed nutrients, and Penn Mulch seed aid. Premium grass seed blends used: Rapid Grass®, Scotts® Sun or Shade, and Jonathan Green® Black Beauty. Seed is lightly raked into the soil, rolled to ensure proper seed-to-soil contact, and covered with straw to retain moisture. Consistent watering is essential for success; we recommend watering twice daily for 3–6 weeks to establish a lush, healthy new lawn.

Exterior Grading

  • We offer exterior grading services for homeowners as an affordable alternative to basement waterproofing. By building up the soil 4–10 inches along the foundation and properly sloping it away from the home, water is redirected and the risk of basement water intrusion is significantly reduced. After grading, seed and straw cover are applied to stabilize the soil, prevent washout, and encourage healthy grass growth. Keeping the straw lightly misted during establishment will help achieve the best results. We also address problematic areas within lawns where standing water commonly occurs. These areas can be improved by building up, compacting, and leveling low spots, followed by reseeding to promote proper drainage and a smoother lawn surface. Please note that some soil settlement will naturally occur over time with either approach and may require future adjustments.
